Sydney Opera House ranked world’s most sustainable cultural institution

Since 2018, we have partnered with the Sydney Opera House to integrate the Global Goals into strategy…

…. align Action Plans with leading practices, benchmark against global peers, and embed the SDGs into organisational culture. In 2019, the Opera House became the first Australian performing arts institution to publicly align with the SDGs, winning the 2021 NSW Banksia Award for Large Business Transformation. In 2024 it was ranked by UNIL’s global study as the world’s most sustainable cultural institution.

Intrepid Travel Wins Sustainable Tourism National Banksia Award

Intrepid Travel Group is the world’s largest travel B Corp and a pioneer in responsible tourism…

…As well as championing small group travel and sharing tourism benefits more equitably with local communities, they’ve set a Science-Based Target and carbon-labelled over 800 itineraries—achievements recognised with a 2023 Sustainable Tourism National Banksia Award. Now we’re helping them develop a bold new 2030 Purpose Strategy, targets and KPIs to drive more positive change through the joy of travel.

Port of Newcastle Wins NSW Large Business Sustainable Leadership Banksia Award

Transitioning the global energy system is one of the world’s greatest challenges …

…and as a major coal export gateway, Port of Newcastle is a lynchpin. Their efforts as a certified EcoPort to create a clean energy precinct and align with the SDGs saw them go from finalist in the 2021 NSW Banksia Net Zero Action and Small and Medium Enterprise Transformation Awards to winner in 2023 for their sustainability leadership.

Powerhouse Recognised for Its Alignment with Best Sustainability Practices

From 2020 to 2021, we guided the Powerhouse Museum in developing their inaugural Climate Action Plan 2022-2025 …

… As well as pledging to achieve net zero operations by 2025, the groundbreaking plan incorporates Caring for Country Principles developed by Terri Janke and Company and sets out 12 directions across infrastructure, programs and operations. The plan has achieved industry recognition, winning the Sustainability Project category at the 2023 Museums and Galleries National Awards.

Carlsberg Group Wins SDG Reporting Award

When the 2030 Agenda entered into force in 2016, we mapped Carlsberg’s sustainability program to the goals …

…and refined their sustainability messaging to ensure that their ‘Together Towards Zero’ commitments were effectively communicated in their 2016 sustainability report. This strong strategic alignment and clear reporting earned them the SDG Reporting Award at the 2017 Danish CSR Rapporteringsprisen 2017.

TUI Group Wins Gold for Best Communicating Responsible Tourism

From 2015 to 2019, we supported the world’s number 1 travel & tourism company…

…with sustainability strategy and editorial expertise, enhancing impact measurement and transparency in their Better Holidays Better World annual Sustainability Report and Modern Slavery Statement. In 2019, TUI Group won the Gold World Responsible Tourism Award for ‘Best Communicating Responsible Tourism’, recognising their excellence in transparent and impactful reporting.

In 2019, One Stone Asia Pacific successfully certified as a B Corp with a verified score of 114.4, the top-ranking company in our industry sector and market. Since then, we have continued to work hard across the board to grow our positive impact.

We are incredibly proud that these efforts were reflected in our 2022 recertification score of 134.7—an improvement of over 20 points across all areas of the B Impact Assessment. This inspires us to keep going and become an even greater force for good for our stakeholders, for nature and generations to come.
